The search in desktop application for Windows does not support characters with diacritics. E. g. if I search for "pracka" I expect that words like "práčka" will be found like it's standard in UTF-8 encoded databases.
Android application supports this kind of search.

Hmmm. Just tested and EN Windows search is diacritical insenstive for French and German.

Testing clip and search for your example..

....

Reproduced "pra" works. "prac" fails. Might be a bug handling adjacent diacriticals.

....

Tested and works in web client.

It seems, that some characters like ô, á, é are fine, but some like č, š, ď are not.
Also OCR in pictures does not recognize characters with diacritics. Instead "čajová" is recognized "cajova".
So if I search for "čajová" the picture is not found. That should also work.

Thanks for posting. We've fixed this in our latest 4.5.9 RC at http://discussion.ev...windows-459-rc/

You should see it come to a GA release soon

Thanks for fast response. Anyway in version 4.5.9.7407 (267915) it's not properly fixed. It's broken even more:

The text contains "Vydavateľstvo".
It's not found when I search for "Vydavatelstvo" neither "Vydavateľstvo" (the same word).
If I search for "vydavate" it works.

Seems to be fixed in 4.5.10.7472 (267980) Public ;)
But does not work for all notes. It looks like, the notes should be resynchronized first - changed something in the note, then synchronize.
