ZTE Score does not support audio function?

For some reason on my new ZTE score (android) I got from Cricket it says that audio notes are not supported? It's got a microphone (It's a phone lol) nand it has permission to access hardware controls, including microphone, on my settings - manage applications. What is going on? The whole thing I like about evernote is that idea. Help?????
