Hi,

I just started to use evernote food to log my daily meals just as a source of reference.

However, I wanted to make one big food note and import all my photos of food that I took while travelling in Asia last year. I copied these photos from my pc onto my phone with the intention of adding them to the food app note.

I created the meal and then when I went to add photos from my library it wasn't letting me?? Surely this is a bug?

I can only take photo's on the spot with evernote food which renders it uselss imo.

Please fix this Evernote team and the functionality is very limited if you cannot add photo's later on that were taken with the camera on your phone or externally.

Thanks.

You should be able to take new snapshots as well as upload existing images from your camera roll. When you say "it wasn't letting me", do you mind being more specific? Did you tap the camera roll icon (2 overlapping squares) to the left of the camera icon on the new meal page? This should take you directly to your camera roll so you can tap multiple thumbnails to upload to a meal in one batch.

Steps to follow:

1.) Create a new meal
2.) Tap the camera roll button on the bottom left of the page (2 overlapping squares)
3.) The first time you launch this feature you should see a tutorial; you can tap to dismiss it
4.) Then tap the images you wish to add to your meal
5.) Tap "Add Photos" when you are done
6.) Images should be saved in one batch to your current meal

If you experience issues during this process, please submit a log so we can better troubleshoot the bug:

1.) Go back to the Meals page
2.) Tap the Settings button (gear icon)
3.) Tap "Activity Log"
4.) Tap "Mail"
5.) Email the log to food-bugs@evernote.com

Thank you!

For number 2 above. I don't get option to tap anything on bottom left of screen as there's nothing there. I submitted a log anyways like you said.

Thanks for the reply :)

I've included a screen shot of the app and where I can't seem to add photos from gallery as there's no option.

Ah, you are using the Android client. I had made the assumption you were on iOS. Glad you found the "Attach Image(s)" option located in the Options menu/Overflow menu.

And four months traveling around Asia - how wonderful. I'm sure you ate well!
