I upgraded to 3.3.0 on Mountain Lion and now have 3 (!) copies of every notebook. Not all copies have all of the notes. I am willing to upload logs or other debug information if it helps.

If you don't have any local-only notebooks, I would recommend removing the app with all associated files and reinstalling.

Does it matter whether I reinstall from the App Store or from Evernote? I too am using 3.3.0 and I now have 5 copies of every notebook.

Months later, I am still having the duplication problem, even after deleting all Evernote files and reinstalling. Even if I choose not to import notebooks. I am using 3.3.0 on OS X 10.7.5. Very frustrating.

I will be submitting a ticket and logs, again.

I just took a chance and updated to Version 5.0.0 (400539). It appears that my notebooks have NOT been duplicated, so the bug must have been addressed. Thanks, Evernote.

Don't know what to tell you. I am a little surprised the company hasn't figured this one out yet. I am definitely sticking with an older version until jackolicious or another rep tells us it is safe to upgrade. Frankly, other than "good to hear it!" and "turn in a ticket," there hasn't been any such response since I posted this problem months ago. Let's hope they get it resolved soon.
