I rely heavily on the 'View New Content' feature to retrieve the most recent forum conversations, as well as the 'Go to first unread message' within a thread. However, this has broken for me in the last week or so.
I've tried clearing all cookies, using Chrome instead of Firefox and logging out of the forum then back in, but to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Forum forgets where I am up to in 'View New Content'

Hmmm, 'View New Content' just went wonky on me this evening. Returned 4 pages of posts, of which the last two had all been read, and most of the ones on the second page were as well. This is on Chrome on Windows.

This is very curious, because once it started happening on my home machine, it also started happening on my work machine.

I don't think I'm seeing this. What do we mean by going wonky? What do we mean by broken and I'll go wave my arms around.

Basically wonky means in this case that when I use the 'View New Content' link, which I almost always do, I used to just see only unread (heh, almost 'undead' there) posts. Now I see 4 pages of posts, most of which (the last two or three pages, usually) I have already read (or at least clicked through), and are marked as such (their titles in the list are not in the big. bold typeface that unread posts use). This happens on two separate machines and of both Chrome (my usual) and Firefox.
