Hi,

I just installed evernote on my computer. But I met a sync error.
Here's the activity log:

22:00:14 [5664] 0% Authenticating user "xxxx"
22:00:14 [5664] 0% Can't send HTTP request, error: INTERNET_INVALID_URL
22:00:14 [5664] 0% Session terminated abnormally, elapsed time: 0s
22:00:14 [5664] 0% * 0s (100%) spent in EDAM RPC

I donno what this means and how I can fix this. Does anyone can help out with this?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forums - sorry for the initial excitement; top of my head queries -
  • is your computer connected to the internet?
  • can you see other web pages?
  • is this a home or work connection?
  • is there a firewall / white list / parental block that prevents certain connections?

I use Evernote constantly but don't speak for them.  Opinions here are my own based (more or less) on age,  experience,  and common business sense.

Evernote read what's posted here,  and take it into consideration setting priorities;  they don't normally comment on individual cases,  or offer any forecasts or promises on whether or when a new feature might be released.

Hi, the computer is in my office. There's no problem with the connection to internet. I have turned off all antivirus software.
So I really donno what's wrong.

Can you open the Evernote web client using Internet Explorer?

Which version of Windows & IE are you using?

Yeah. However Evernote uses IE components. Need to explicitly test Web client from IE.
