i'd like to have a feature that allows me to look for places in a range from my position.
it will help a lot when you go back in an area you've already been and want to know places around you
bye

Hi there. Lucky for you, we already have this feature -- on the "New Meal" page just tap the word "Place" and you'll see a list of nearby places (assuming you have Location Services turned on). When searching for a place outside of your current proximity, you can also enter a different city or point of interest and view related results. "Current Location" is always an option you can go back to if you want to view nearby places again.

Hi Naomi, I understand the feature you explained of seeing a list of restaurants that exist close to your (or another) location based on some directory (i.e. yellowpages). This is a great way to find new restaurants, but not necessarily help you to see ones you've visited.
However, a feature I would love to have (and I think the feature Lenny76 was looking for) would be for a way to view your past meals relative to a point on a map. So, if I'm headed to South Florida, it would be great to be able to review my past meals, maybe revisit my favorite places.... To do that I could:
1. Scroll map down toward South Fla and see points on a map of places I've been
2. I could pull up a meal from a place I remember, then see all other meals on a map relative to this one...
Our meals appear chronologically now - it would be great to be able to browse them based on geography. Searching for City works to a point, but doesn't help for 'regions' that may have many cities close.
All in all, this is a wonderful product that I use constantly!!! Thanks, Chris

Ah, yes - thanks for the suggestion! I can see how this would be useful. We're looking into it.
For now, you can still view your notes plotted on a map from within the core Evernote clients.

Great - I went into my 'food' folder in Evernote and viewed all my meals plotted on the map - That is exactly what I was looking for.
It would be a great feature in Food, but it works perfectly in Evernote.
Thanks !!
