In next week's service update (Wednesday, March 7th) we'll be adding an API key type check to our OAuth provider. If you're using a web service key, you won't see any change. However, if you're trying to use a client key to make OAuth requests, your request will be rejected.
If your app authenticates via OAuth but you have a client API key, we'd be happy to convert it to an OAuth key. Just fill out the form at http://www.evernote..../apisupport.php and let us know your consumer key.
If you have multiple apps, please get a separate key (of the appropriate type) for each app. You can get additional keys at http://www.evernote....developer/api/.
Update: This change is live on our production service.
