Hi All,

Here is a new update for blackberry.
We are still polishing the process to detect the connection and improve the experience and the performances.
We fixed an issue of battery consumption and improved a few details in the note editor interface.

Please give it a good try and let us know any problem you may have.
Thanks,

it's still working very well , no problems with the connection and note pop up.A huge difference these 2 last versions ( at last for the Torch). nothing to complain

Abiut the UI , I don't know if I really like the new format , with the "quadrant" lines for every action ( new text note, all notes , search , etc...) in a thin blue line. But it's personal, some people may like it better .

My only concern : the font on the notes list is very tiny , even with glasses :) ; and the font in the note is sometimes big .
No way to customize it ?

I have a question , a repeat in last versions: when you download a note , they will be displayed as "downloaded" next time , to be used off line .But , I don,t know why , after the note is edited in the Windows software , seems to be , it loses the off-line status .
Is it like this ?

Anyway , it'S a very good application now and a yoiu did a huge improvement , compared to the (not so long time ago ) BB orginal app.
Now , it's really a productivity app. Again , with the rich text note edit capability , will be one of the best BB apps.
Cross my fingers you'll be able to get it.
Great job

Regards

Claudio

@Claudio, Thanks a lot for the detailled feedback.

We have increased the font size in the note list, but that may still be small on some devices I believe. Would you like to attach a screenshot and/or let us know which device you are using?

About the offline status, if you modify the note on another client, then the new version of the note should be re-downloaded so you don't have conflicts with 2 different versions of the same note. Therefore, if you try to open the note while online, the new copy should be downloaded. Then the copy should be available offline like initially. Please let me know if that doesn't work as described.

@JamesD
I have informed the development team, and it seems that this issue may be related to your device. We may contact you by MP to get more detail if you will.

Thanks for the feedback
I have a Torch ; have you heard of anybody else having the same problem with the Torch ( I mean , small font ) ?
For the off-line notes, it's OK , probably the best soilution .
It's a pity there won't be ( for the moment ) any rich text note edit , as for example check boxes edits .The possibility having editable notes with checkboxes ( as in Android or iphone) could be great and may let us discard other check lists application .
But I guess it's , may be , not so simple ( if not , you should have alkready implemented , shouldn't you? ;)

anyway , the application is really cool now

@KareemElaidy, the battery drain should be fixed in the next release.
@Claudio, not so simple indeed for the rich text editor. I thought about the checkboxes too, but that's still on the wish list. Small font was reported, but I though we had fixed that. I will see what we can do.

Hi ,

attached the snapshot with the small fonts in my Torch .

Regarding the rich text , I imagine it won't be easy and we all appreciate your efforts to make Evernote BB a top class product .Many GTD fans envy ( me included ) the way Evernote works in Iphone and while BB will continue to be a Corporate choice , we will have to deal with it (and right now it's a good product already)

Thanks for the support

Can anyone confirm that the version for the Bold 9650 running OS6 works? I installed the other beta version in the early forum thread and it nuked my BB (had to wipe and reinstall). Not sure if it's because I installed over an older version.

I love Evernote on my Playbook and would like to get it working on my 9650. The version in BB AppWorld doesn't work!

I uninstalled the beta version and installed the version in Blackberry App world 3.4.373 and it works fine....seeems to be an issue with both Beta 1 and 2 not working on OS 6.

I installed 3.5 beta on a Torch 9800 running OS6 and it works beautifully - the best version yet. For the first time it runs smoothly via a BES and I'm very happy so far!

I agree with logandb that this is the best release so far. One thing I did notice is that by accident I left Evernote open on my Torch for a while and having it opened used up twice the battery I usually would.

@Claudio, we should have fixed the font size in the new beta, could you please give it a try on tell us if that's ok now?
@metroside, we have also worked on the battery consumption in this new beta. Please tell me if that's better.
