(Archived) Checkboxes vs. bulleted lists

I haven't see this issue reported here (but oddly, it's apparently a problem on the Mac: http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/22721-evernote-for-mac-306-beta-1/page__view__findpost__p__116933), so...

I made a new note in Evernote on the Kindle Fire. Started a bulleted list and added a few items. I decided to add checkboxes to each item, so I went to the first item, located to the start of the line, and pressed the checkbox symbol. The bullet changed to a checkbox. This behavior was repeatable on all of th eother bulleted items in the list.

Did you expect every bullet to change to a checkbox (checkbox as a kind of bullet) or a checkbox to be added after the current bullet on the same line?

I expected to add a checkbox to the beginning of the line, where the cursor was located; after the bullet and before the text. Instead it turned the bullet into a checkbox.
