Evernote maintains an extensive (and searchable) knowledge base on each of our platforms and products. The KB Spotlight is a regular forum feature that helps educate and cross-pollinate knowledge base articles with our user forum.

As always, your comments are welcome!

Accessing RSS Feeds for Public Notebooks

Public notebooks include an RSS feed that users can use to be notified of new content added to the notebook. Accessing the RSS feed URL is a little tricky, but let's go through the process.
  • Open a public notebook (like Evernote CEO Phil Libin's Japanese Food Notebook) in your web browser.
  • The URL will automatically be updated with a series of letters and numbers preceded by a hash symbol (#). Delete the hash symbol and everything after it so the URL ends with the name of the notebook ("thethingsiate", in the previous example).
  • Append "/feed" to the end of the URL; the end result should look like this: https://www.evernote...thingsiate/feed
  • This URL can be added as a subscription in your preferred RSS reader (like Google Reader).
If you have any questions about this process, please contact our support department.

Check out our Knowledgebase. View our User Manuals here: Mac or Windows. Check out the Getting Started Guide. Still need help? Submit a support request here.

For those that maintain a shared notebook, you could make the feed more accessible. :D

My proposed method:

- Include a link to the feed in the "contents" note. (or whatever note you have to display first depending on your settings)
- If it is not needed, set the source link to the feed. It is then shown at the top of the page while viewing the notes.
