My contribution to kick this off.

They do show in the view. Just get missed in the clips.
Web Clipper Article clips include the embeds fine.

Web Clipper Article Clip works fine.
I clicked on the text first, then ran Clearly and was able to capture the title, photo, text summary, chart and comments.

Interesting. The link works for me now in Clearly, even without clicking on the text of the page. The change in the page content is that it now includes comments. I first tested this shortly after the article hit the Truthdig feed. Clearly just displayed the "Add your comment" section of the page.

The whole page did not work, so I tried capturing just the Featured Award Categories (1/2 way down).
Clearly appears to freeze. The scizzors "Clipping..." logo appeared next to the Elephant logo does not disappear.

edit: I'll retract this comment. Clearly did seem to capture slowly. The images are large and it takes longer to download.

This page also gives the Chrome Web Clipper some heartburn. Article clip is not even offered an option, and the full page clip gets the wrong dimensions for the clipped featured images. Before I ran Clearly, I knew this web page would be tough to capture.
Hmmm. The dimensions issue could be a web client rendering problem....
Nope. Rendering problem persists in Windows client.
Update(12/21): Firefox9
Clearly & Clearly Clipper skipped "Featured Award Section" of page.
Web Clipper did not offer Article Clip option.

Funny problem. The "Clipping..." state persists but the clip is actually created. Never gets the checkmark.
Tested twice with a successful Clearly clip (with checkmark) on another page in between.
Update(12/21) Firefox9:
Same problem as Chrome. Clip created but did not get to checked state.
Update(2012/1/3): Problem FIXED with new Clearly Chrome.

The Clearly clip for this article is almost perfect. The part that is missing however is really significant in the context of this article. None of the YouTube embed player links made it through.
On balance the Clearly clip is better than an Article clip. Article clip only gets the first page.
As I said, almost perfect.

Update(12/21) Firefox9:
Same results as for Chrome Clearly clips.
Firefox Web Clipper Article Clip did not include embed links.
Need to retest Chrome Article clip handling of embed player links.
Update(12/21)Chrome15:
Confirmed Chrome Web Clipper Article Clip contains clickable links for embed players.

One note - anything inside an iframe Clearly will not be able to capture. I suspect the StumbleUpon case falls under that category f.a.e.

And thanks to you and the rest of the developers for an exceptionally useful extension. Thanks all for keeping the troublesome URLs coming, we currently test against 450+ of them and improvements should be noticeable in coming releases.
Just so that this topic is not all problems, here is a URL that Clearly did a particularly good job on. I collect year end lists and some of them get tricky to clip. So...

See http://online.wsj.co...0261141970.html as an example. I've attached screenshots. It seems Clearly is reserving space for a title but it is a giant blank line.

Looked OK when I tried it. Win 7, Chrome 16.0.912.63 m
Then again, I occasionally have problems loading Lifehacker pages, maybe due to the ads not loading.
