An alarm function requires the ability to add a future date and time.
That function is not available in Evernote.

Evernote has stated they will not be adding alarms/notifications.
I'm not affiliated with Evernote. I'm just an Evangelapologist. Evernote is an integral part of my life.

I've been using the beta version of Tusk Tools Calendar to stay alert to upcoming appointments, tasks and reminders.
Tusk Tools Calendar syncs with Evernote. The newest release added some nice new options:

I use Google Calendar for reminders. It works well and integrates with iOS. Another beta app, Zendone, integrates with Evernote and Google Calender.

I signed up via the website and never had a response. After waiting a bit, I instead sent them an email mentioning that I was interested in trying it out. I had an invite the next morning.
Any idea how Zendone is giving out invites? I've been waiting a couple months for one. Do I have any hope of getting it?
