Web Clipper addon doesn't work on Pale Moon x64.

Hi Evernote folks,

I was testing this modified Firefox called "Pale Moon". Sadly Evernote Web Clipper add-on for Firefox doesn't work on Pale Moon x64, while my other addons are working perfectly. It can be installed successfully but when clicking the button, nothing happens.

Oh, it does work on Pale Moon x86. So I suspect it might be the x64's fault.

Well, this isn't an issue at all. I understand that it's not necessarily Evernote's job to make this Firefox add-on supporting some browsers other than Firefox. I just think you might need to know this. Making this addon more "x64-friendly" like others might be a good approach, I think.

By the way, the new forum looks great. :)

Regards,

Jeremy

I find it amazing that there is no response for over a year from anyone affiliated or on the Evernote team. Secondly, I find just as amazing that this is still currently an issue when running x64 builds. Really makes use of your product difficult. I would have imagined that this would be a higher priority especially since many OEMs are now shipping x64 builds of Windows and Windows still has majority market share by far.

I'm a religious user of Evernote and PaleMoon x64.  PaleMoon is essentially a clone of FireFox and is perfect for my Win x64 machine.  The fact that webclipper doesn't allow clipping to the desktop Evernote app is very annoying.

I also vote for this to be recitifed.

Thanks for the feedback? That's it?

Sometimes that's all you get in the forums, sometimes not even that. As this is a user forum, not every post, question, or issue is answered here.

Where does one have to go on this site to be heard?

Right here -- Jakob is an Evernote development staff member, after all. He does a pretty good job of patrolling the web clipper forum, too, I might add.

Another option is to open a support request. See the link in my signature.

Well?

Deep subject, eh?

Are you there?

Evidently. Unless the Everbots have taken over.

What steps has Evernote taken to even start to work on this problem?

They acknowledged the feedback. Means it's on a list somewhere. Doesn't ensure that they are going to do anything about it, though. Hopefully they'll be able to make it work, though. Of course, Evernote wants to be on as many platforms as possible, but I don't know how much effort making it work would take, do you?
