(Archived) tif format support

What does that mean?

I can open them in mac/windows.

If I email the file to myself, I can save it to evernote and view the image, but then when evernote import it as a note, I can just see it "hang" there with "Open..."

If you try that yourself, you will see what I mean.

I did a lot of drawings with SketchBook Pro. I don't think saying it's a bad format will solve the problem.

I guess it means exactly what Dave said:

"TIFF is a not a good format for cross-platform compatibility, since it's not supported in most web browsers, etc."

Sure, Windows & Mac may have no problem with tiff. But what about all the other platforms EN lives on like iOS, Android, etc?

If you want to see these images not as attachments, you'll need to convert them from tiff to jpg/png using an image editor. Many good ones allow batch processing, so you may be able to do something like that.
