Insert Date/Time on a note?

I mainly use the windows client day to day but also heavily use evernote on the iPad and iPhone...

One of the features I use on the desktop app is ALT+SHIFT+D to insert current date and time.

Is this feature available on the ipad in any way (other than typing it?).. I have a blue tooth keyboard for use with the ipad but the same keyboard combination doesn't work..

Any ideas?

There is nothing built into Evernote on iOS to do this - there's a thread somewhere about adding TextExpander support but I don't believe that Evernote have shown a great deal of interest.
