Howdy. Just got an iPad2 and started out by recording several audio files during a conference. They total about 24mb, ranging from 20 minutes to the full 90 that evernotes allows.

However, I keep getting the following error on the note:
Synchronization failed
Unknown Error u6

I've created other notes since then that have synched. I've force-quit the app and tried again. No dice. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with an iPod 4th gen... Multiple audio recordings & photos, the note is just under 30 MB but it's still within my monthly allowance.

If you have a free account, note size is limited to 25 mb.

Sychronization Failed - Unknown Error u6

I've checked the help section, the Knowledge Base, and spent hours online searching and trying to figure out this error. I have also tried the "new evernote" online and the old to see if that might be the issue?

I have 6 text only notes that I entered into a new folder (very small file sizes). My iphone will not sync with the online account? I keep getting the above error no matter what I try. I was previously an IT specialist so I am no dummy to PC's or solving bugs and issues.

I've read all the hype about the various note apps for iPhone, including springpadit, so thought I'd try Evernote. My first impression is terrible. I don't get it? Paying $45 to upgrade to get technical support for something that is not working to begin with is also not going to happen. Also, unless there is a way to back up my current notes, then uninstalling and reinstalling the software would be too frustrating and I would pass on Evernote.

Can anyone help?

Best bet is probably to open a support case - http://www.evernote....upport/#inquiry which you can do as a free user. You may not get the same pretty much immediate response that Premium customers get, but you will get help.

I keep getting a message on syncing that says unknown error u6 when I try to sync

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall, if not try this but backup any pending notes before doing this. If you are still getting this error message then please submit a support ticket at http://www.evernote....ontact/support/

I have the same error on iPad 2. Not related to specific note. What was the fix?

It was related to specific note, which had only title(no body) and always was shown as synchronizing. It was enough to open the note and sav it again to stop the message.

What is this? How do I fix? It started popping up a few days ago.

I have experience the same U6 error with my professional account. Hmmm... Anyone found a suggestion that might fix the issue? Mayby I exceeded my 50mb single note limit? How can I check? My monthly upload is only at about 25% of my monthly 1GB allowance.
