Admin rights to install

I can't install evernote because it needs admin rights to rewrite over the start menu group.
I don't understand since I am installing under an admin account.

Try uninstalling all previous versions of Evernote first, and then reboot and do a clean install of the latest version.

Well I can't do that since evernote is already uninstalled.
And I can't seem to delete the evernote start menu folder under my administrator account because " I need admin right "
Sign it's just a horrible circle.

ok got it did a couple of reboots and then evernote started to install.
evernote sure is one temperamental SOB.
