Seems like almost every new update, I have problems getting the install to work.

Basically the update starts, then tells me it can't install because it needs 'evernote.msi'. . . I find a version hidden away, it tells me it's not compatible.
I really like Evernote, but the install/update process is a constant hassle (at least for me).

Running Windows XP/SP3. Here's the sequence of events. run the update

------

Another version of this product is already installed.
Installation of the this version cannot continue. To
configure or remove the existing version of this product
use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

When you try to un-install, it looks for Evernote.msi

Which you have to hunt around and find. I found it here.

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp

Then when you try to execute it you get.

The installing product does not match the installation sources(w). Until a matching source
is provided or the installed product and source are synchronized, this action can not
be performed.

On Cancel
The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.

--------

REALLY FRUSTRATED, CAN'T INSTALL THE UPDATE, CAN'T UN-INSTALL . . . STUCK

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

For a repetitive problem like this, you should submit a Support Request

Have you opened a support request?
