I would love to sleep at night knowing that if Evernote suddenly goes belly up and doesn't work on Windows 2020, I could have exported the notes to HTML .. with titles, dates, tags and other meta data.
As much as we hate to contemplate the belly up scenario, I second this request based on 25 years of personal computer experience. Actually, one of the main reasons I'm abandoning InfoSelect after 20 years is that the newest version does NOT export to HTML as neatly as the last version I purchased in 2007.
The fact that the user base of Evernote is large enough to motivate Microsoft to allow easy EN import into OneNote is what keeps me here, despite EN's limited HTML export capability.
But hey, based on the creativity and responsiveness of the developers here (very new to me, and delightful!), it may be more likely that they OneNote folks will be migrating their data into EN when OneNote doesn't work with Linux 2020!
