+1 for Opera Support. Opera is my main browser and I've just begun to use Evernote. Would like to enjoy using two of my favorite apps in harmony. Until support comes, I read earlier about the windows + a command, that is very helpful!
Opera support?

+1 for Opera Support from me too. I know that it is a long shot but I would really appreciate if I could see features like Clearly available as an extension for Opera as well.

Even I am bored of saying it's never going to happen.

(You could put it in your sig, right next to the one about HP Touchpad).
The forums seem to work just fine with Opera, at least.

I like Opera - I use it every day, the download manager and built in email client are very useful.
As a browser it feels really pretty clunky compared to Safari and Chrome though, hence it's small user base I would guess....

I guess when the Head of Technicalfulness lists out the supported browsers and doesn't include Opera, it's safe to assume that Opera isn't going to supported.
Given the size of Opera's share I don't think it's all that surprising either. I like Opera, it's great for downloading and the built in mail client is nice too - but I've never expected Evernote to work on it.

Opera holds 2-2.4% of browser usage... it may seem insignificant but given the size of the internet that's around 200 million users.
By comparison evernote's user base is 10 million users.. that's 0.1% of the internet
So, I would not say that it's not surprising :-)
plus some fun facts:
Opera Users Are the Smartest, IE6 Users the Dumbest, Study Finds

latebeat you 're right but Opera users are more and more, I think is good idea to add support Opera to evernote. Browser statistics this is link have a five of popular browsers, and there are many more, for example: "Midori", "Comodo" "Maxthon". So at least these five most popular should have support for Evernote, at the opera.

We currently test and maintain support for:
* IE 7, 8, 9
* Firefox 3.6
* Chrome 7 & 8
* Mac Safari
We don't currently have plans to actively test and maintain support for Opera, but I've heard that it works and you're welcome to try it. You can clip with the "bookmarklet" clipper at the bottom of:

Or you can select part of the page and use the built-in "clip selection" feature in Windows (Win+A) or Copy and "Paste to Evernote" hotkey on Mac.

+1 for Opera!
I've been using it as my primary browser since about 1998. What I've loved most about the experience is that Opera has often pushed the other guys to innovate. Features like tabs and quick launch were in Opera for years before any other browser even considered them. It's typically near the top for both speed and W3C compliance and is huge in the mobile browser space. Some of the features are so important to my desktop web browsing experience that I couldn't even consider another browser. Built-in mouse gesture support, fastforward, browser syncing for the 4 computers I use at work... the list goes on.
Please Mr. Engberg, Evernote CTO, from one Dave to another, reconsider and devote just a small portion of one of your talented coders time to giving us this oh so basic support.
